OUR RETURN POLICY
At Costume Types Shop, we’re committed to ensuring your haunting experience is nothing short of spine-chilling. If your terrifying purchase doesn’t meet your expectations, we’re here to help. You have 15 days from the delivery date to request a return or exchange.
⚠️ NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Due to the nature of our horrifying products, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Bloody / Gory Props (hygiene reasons)
- Animatronics (all types – Electric, General, Graveyard)
- Opened Costumes (Costume Robes, Costume Types, Creature Reacher Costumes)
- Custom or Personalized Items
- Final Sale Items
All items must be returned in original condition with tags attached and in original packaging.
RETURN & EXCHANGE PROCESS

Email us at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the template below to ensure we have all necessary information. - Wait for Authorization
Our team will review your request and provide a Return Authorization Number and shipping instructions within 2 business days. - Ship Your Return
Package your item securely with the original packaging and include the Return Authorization Number clearly on the outside of the package. - Processing
Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect it and process your refund or exchange within 5-7 business days.

REFUND INFORMATION
Refund Timeline
- Processing Time: 5-7 business days after we receive your return
- Credit Card Refunds: 3-5 business days to appear on your statement after processing
- PayPal Refunds: 2-3 business days to appear in your account after processing
Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method:
- Visa, MasterCard, JCB – Refunded to your card
- PayPal – Refunded to your PayPal account
Note: Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
EXCHANGES
Want to exchange for a different terrifying item? We’ll happily process your exchange once we receive the returned item. If the exchange item costs more, we’ll invoice you for the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.
