All orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation. During peak haunting seasons (September-October), please allow up to 3 business days for processing.

At Costume Types Shop, we want your haunting experience to be absolutely spine-chilling! If your purchase doesn’t meet your terrifying expectations, we’re here to help.
Return Timeframe
You have 15 days from the delivery date to request a return or exchange.

Due to the horrifying nature of these products, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Bloody / Gory Props (for hygiene reasons)
- All Animatronics (Electric, General, Graveyard)
- Opened Costumes (Costume Robes, Costume Types, Creature Reacher Costumes)
- Custom or Personalized Items
- Final Sale Items
All return items must be in original condition with tags attached and in original packaging.

Step 1: Contact Our Haunt Team
Email us at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the template below to ensure we have all necessary information.
Step 2: Wait for Authorization
Our terrifying team will review your request and provide a Return Authorization Number and shipping instructions within 2 business days.
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package your item securely with the original packaging and include the Return Authorization Number clearly on the outside of the package.
Step 4: Processing
Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect it and process your refund or exchange within 5-7 business days.

Refund Timeline

Exchanges
Want to exchange for a different terrifying item? We’ll happily process your exchange once we receive the returned item. If the exchange item costs more, we’ll invoice you for the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.
